- Why does the code change on a weekly basis?
- The whotooth™ code changes every Wednesday at 09.00 (GMT) to help keep it safe, and identifies if the user is gay or lesbian (they should have the same code as you). A weekly code also lets you know who is still actively looking (an old code means they're probably not interested).
- What is Bluetooth®?
- Bluetooth® is a short-range wireless technology used mainly to transfer files between mobile phones and computers (or to other mobile phones). Bluetooth® has a range of up to 10 metres and the users do not have to be in direct view.
- How do I change my bluetooth® phone name?
- Each mobile phone is different. You should find your Bluetooth® phone name in your 'settings', there you can change your name. Make sure your phone is 'visible' and your Bluetooth® is switched to 'on'.
- How can I contact other whotooth™ users?
- Select an image, video or your contact number from your address book and select 'send'. Select the option to send 'via Bluetooth', this will then search for any nearby Bluetooth® users in your area (and give you a list, including any you might be interested in contacting). NB. Your brand and model of mobile phone may be different, please check your user manual or your manufacturers website.
- Please bear with us.
- It may take a while for enough people to register before whotooth™ starts to work for you. The more of your friends you tell about whotooth™ the faster it will happen. Many thanks!
