Why does the code change on a weekly basis?
The whotooth code changes every Wednesday at 09.00 (GMT) to help keep it safe, and identifies if the user is gay or lesbian (they should have the same code as you). A weekly code also lets you know who is still actively looking (an old code means they're probably not interested).
What is Bluetooth®?
Bluetooth® is a short-range wireless technology used mainly to transfer files between mobile phones and computers (or to other mobile phones). Bluetooth® has a range of up to 10 metres and the users do not have to be in direct view.
How do I change my bluetooth® phone name?
Each mobile phone is different. You should find your Bluetooth® phone name in your 'settings', there you can change your name. Make sure your phone is 'visible' and your Bluetooth® is switched to 'on'.
How can I contact other whotooth users?
Select an image, video or your contact number from your address book and select 'send'. Select the option to send 'via Bluetooth', this will then search for any nearby Bluetooth® users in your area (and give you a list, including any you might be interested in contacting). NB. Your brand and model of mobile phone may be different, please check your user manual or your manufacturers website.
Please bear with us.
It may take a while for enough people to register before whotooth starts to work for you. The more of your friends you tell about whotooth the faster it will happen. Many thanks!
